Greetings! My name is Sean Kwon and I am currently based in the UK serving together with OEM missionaries, Mike and Julie Kim. We have started GLS (Global Leadership School) in the UK which is an alternative/home school committed to nurturing effective global Christian leaders by emphasizing a holistic approach to education. This includes rigorous academics in subjects like math, English, science, and art, alongside the development of essential life skills such as household management, financial literacy, and meal preparation. At its core, GLS seeks to foster spiritual maturity and cultivate an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ, guiding students to grow in their faith and leadership.
We've had the privilege of experiencing eye-opening cross-cultural journeys to Türkiye, Germany, the Netherlands, and Belgium. During our visits, GLS students and I were deeply moved by the powerful testimonies of Christian Iranian refugees living in these countries, witnessing firsthand how God is working through them. We were blessed with the rare opportunity to stay in their homes, sharing meals, conversations, and life together. In Türkiye, we also had the chance to assist earthquake victims, providing them with whatever support and resources they needed during their time of crisis.
Our goal at GLS is to raise the next generation of Christian leaders who are deeply rooted in their faith and in their relationship with Jesus Christ. We aim to empower them to grow closer to Him, equipping them with the spiritual strength and conviction to spread the Gospel and share the love of our Lord and Savior with the world.
